Kristina Bolt

Hearing Science Accelerator Coordinator

I grew up in a small town in Washington state playing soccer year around. Thanks to a state-wide program there, I was able to begin college at 16 which is when I took my first human anatomy class and fell in love with science and medicine. Through many different educational opportunities as well as experience with my nieces and nephew, I learned that I wanted to help kids through scientific research. The House Institute has supported me in my research goals from the start, and the opening of the Pediatric Hearing Health Research Center offers me the opportunity to reach even more kids!

Education

BS Biology, Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (2019),

Master of Public Health in Epidemiology degree from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon (2021)

Hobbies

Hiking with her Great Dane, paddleboarding, reading in the sun, and exploring new restaurants around LA
