Michael Avillion grew up in North Carolina with a family of four sisters. His mother was an ER physician, and his father was a Family Medicine physician in the Army. Michael decided to become an Army doctor because of him and will resume an Army career after his Neurotology Fellowship at House Ear Clinic. He enjoys treating patients with hearing and balance disorders, as he finds it very gratifying to be able to restore these senses. Michael resides in Los Angeles with his partner and two loving dogs. He enjoys music and movies as well as active sports such as triathlons and tennis, all of which heavily depend on his hearing and balance function. He looks forward to a career helping patients to regain the function they once had
