Beneath the twinkling lights in a grateful patient’s garden, surrounded by donors, I felt the incredible power of the House Institute community. The evening was a heartfelt celebration to express our gratitude to all who have helped us change lives and brighten the futures of individuals with hearing loss. As we raised our glasses of exquisite Center of Effort Pinot Noir (coewine.com), crafted and donated by yet another grateful patient, excitement washed over me. The stories shared by donors, physicians, and grateful patients were a testament to our collective achievements. We discussed innovative research, our ambitious goals for the future, and the lives we aim to touch. This reminded us that our mission transcends hearing—it is about connections, laughter, and the rich moments of life.
