Areas of Focus:
Providing audiological care, hearing aids and, most importantly, sign language acquisition and counseling to Deaf children living in refugee camps and areas of conflict.

No current affiliations. Deaf Defy is always in need of more hearing aids and actively recruiting AuDs for their 2024 missions.
Specific Volunteer or Resource Needs:
Sign language fluency is a requirement for all team members.
Summary
Deaf Defy is a Deaf-led team with a dual focus on both sign language and audiology. They work alongside local Deaf communities to ensure that patients receive accurate sign language instruction in addition to audiological care and hearing aids.
